OUR MINISTRIES
Children's Ministry

We love serving families in our community. We believe that bringing children to church is foundational to strong spiritual development. Liberty Hill - Ethridge provides a safe and secure environment for your children to learn about the Bible in a structured but fun environment. Led by Hannah Burgess and Judy Mayo, the children discuss prayer requests and concerns, have a Bible lesson, and enjoy games and snacks.

Study the Word - Sunday and Wednesday evening Bible study
If you would like to delve more deeply into topics of faith, join us on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Bible studies range from What Baptists Believe, to learning more about biblical prophesy, and taking a deeper look at books of the Bible, including Old and New Testament studies. We enjoy a forum where everyone is invited to participate in open discussion.

Community Outreach & Missions
Liberty Hill - Ethridge is characterized by a sense of community. Because of our size, we have the opportunity to really get to know, support, and love one another. We also believe strongly in serving and supporting our community and missions internationally. We give to the Lottie Moon Offering to support international missions; provide financial assistance to local ministries such as New Caanan Ranch; and provide meals or goody bags to our local first responders to show our appreciation. In 2023, we contributed shoeboxes to support the Operation Christmas Child effort of Franklin Graham Ministries.

Sunday School Classes
Sunday School classes give members an opportunity to study God's word together in a small group atmosphere. It also allows us to learn ways in which we can better support one another on our Christian journey. Our small group Sunday School classes meet every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. to study the Bible, discuss prayer requests, and the needs of our members.

Fellowship, Friends, and Family

We enjoy gathering as a church family to celebrate special holidays and occasions or just enjoy a potluck after church. This informal time gives us a chance to get caught up on each other's busy lives and share our favorite home-cooked dishes. This relaxed time of fellowship is part of what makes our church community so special.
